A tractor-trailer semi truck transporting Lamb of God’s tour gear during the band’s current North American headlining tour was in an accident on Friday night, damaging their things. Guitarist Mark Morton said that “lots of gear [was] damaged” in the accident, which happened on Interstate 37 near Mathis, Texas. The driver of the truck drifted off of the highway and crossed the median. The load shifted, the rig rolled over on it’s side and the driver suffered a broken arm.
Lamb of God’s US tour with Anthrax is scheduled to close in Los Angeles on February 12. Their latest album, “VII: Sturm Und Drang” was released last July.
